My husband uses a CPAP machine and he has tried various pillows in all the price ranges from $25 to $150, memory foam, latex, feathers, etc. So far he has been using this since he got it and he states that he no longer has neck problems and it’s more comfortable with his mask. He recommends it.– Paxton
I got this to replace my PAPillow which, after about 7 years fell apart. This CPAP fit pillow is just as comfy as my old pillow except once I shape it it stays that shape and height all night! I can’t believe I spent so many years with my old pillow rolling it and massaging it into shape throught the night. This pillow was comfy from the first night. I used a large bowl to scoop out about 1/3 of the shells, which I’m saving as replacement stuffing and for when I camp on firmer bedding and need the pillow to be taller. I side sleep using a full face mask and this pillow is perfect. It seems like it stays pretty cool as well. – Grace
I use this with my CPAP nasal pillow and it’s perfect. As a side sleeper, normal pillows make it difficult to get enough clearance for the nasal pillow. This pillow allows you to configure the profile of your pillow precisely by moving the material inside around. The material stays in place once you move it. This provides the benefits of a firm pillow but the comfort of a soft pillow because you create the exact profile that best fits your head. Delivery was quick. Instructions were very helpful. All in all, great buy. – Terra
3-4 Star Ratings – 15%:
According to the 15% of consumers that gave the CPAPfit 3-4 star ratings they liked this pillow because it is comfortable, but also stated that it takes a while to adjust to.
Some also remarked that they did not use all of the filling that was included with the pillow while others commented that the straps can cause marks on your face when you lay against them with your face.
Works well for what I need. It is somewhat hard at first but as you settle in and make adjustments it is quite comfortable. The filling is so much better than a normal pillow because it is more malleable so you can shape it just the way you want it. Works pretty well with my CPAP but I move a lot in my sleep so it takes some adjustment but once I do it works great. The price was a bit high for me but in the end it is worth it. – Lynn
I have only used it a week, but I like it. I am a slide sleeper. I am using abut 70 % of the supplied filling. I really noticed how well it shapes. I hand slide the hulls for comfortable support of neck, head depression and nasal mask depression. My adjustment period is not over yet. I still get some discomfort and face marks from the straps. I may order some loose foam to customize the pillow in terms of softness. – Lynda L.
1-2 Star Ratings – 7%:
The very miniscule percentage of buyers of this pillow, provided low ratings of 1-2 stars because it did not work well for them when they slept on their backs and that the pillow has no spring action. Additionally, they say using the entire amount of stuffing is unnecessary and that when they decided to return the pillow customer service was more than helpful in supplying them a full refund.
The real issue is as I turn from sleeping on my back to sleeping on the side, the neck support collapses. The buckwheat hulls that are the fillings for this pillow do not have any spring action. So, the pillow does not bounce back when the neck turns. – Jim
The pillow is well made, but I couldn’t get to sleep using it. I’m mostly a back sleeper and took out the recommended 50% of the stuffing, but it still was too hard. I’m back to my foam pillow and have the Contour CPAPMax pillow coming in the mail. The refund was painless. Great customer service. This might work for you, but it didn’t for me. I think that CPAP pillows are very individual about what works for you. – Alan
